The applicant must be a member of his/her national perioperative association since at least 2 years. The membership of the winner will be verified with his / her national perioperative association.
If the membership is not valid, the winner will loose all rights and a new winner will be chosen.

The applicant can neither be involved nor connected to any member in the Scientific Task Group of EORNA nor to the representatives of Mölnlycke Health Care.

All submitted material including the research project must be written in English. The application form must be submitted in electronic form and sent by e-mail to:

The research project must be carried out according to acknowledged methods regarding scientific research. The project can not be solely a literature review.

The research project must be carried out strictly for this purpose. It cannot be a part of any other project or linked to any institutions or organisations other than Mölnlycke Health Care and the EORNA Academy.

The awarded researcher shall give an oral presentation in English of her/his work at the EORNA Congress 2012, in Lisbon.

The research project shall be ready three months prior to congress.

A completed breakdown of expenses must be submitted with the application form.

The winner is expected to return a progress report in English every sixth month to Manuel Valente, chairperson of the Scientific Task Group of EORNA
